When he was 2 he swallowed 2 men’s tube socks which resulted in surgery to remove them. I felt really horrible about that but the surgeon remarked that another dog had the same surgery to remove Burt and Ernie dolls, then another had eaten a woman’s skirt, another kitchen utensils. After surgery he brought me out a baggie with 2 green socks and since then I’ve always been extra cautious about what Indy retrieves around the house.
